The Dream

The Solid Rock is currently in the middle of a large and intensive growth and remodeling
project. The church and it's building was neglected for many years and was in a state of
disrepair in December 2007. The church's small, struggling congregation reached out for
help to a neighboring church in Canton, OH. A number of people came to help the church,
and a process of rebuilding began.

The Solid Rock has learned to dream again, and has steadily made progress under new
leadership. Pastor Tony Cruz became pastor of The Solid Rock in January of 2009. He
and his family love the church and are happy to join the process of fulfilling the dream.

We are currently covered in drywall dust as we remodel room by room. Walls
are disappearing and reappearing in new places. One bathroom has been completely
remodeled and the other is nearing completion. We are concentrating on the Sunday School wing right now, and are excited to see the project moving towards its final phase.
