Pastor Tony Cruz
Pastor Cruz, his wife, Tara, and their three children began attending The Solid Rock
in December of 2007. In January of 2009, he was appointed pastor. He and his
family love the church and are committed to serving it to the best of their ability.
Pastor Cruz has been a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church for nine years. He is pursuing his degree in ministry at Purpose Institute, and has received excellent leadership and ministry training through The Link Network.
His ministry experience is wide and varied. He has preached in many places and settings, including juvenile detention centers, refugee camps, home missions works, and homes. He and his wife served in The Netherlands under the Associates in Missions (AIM) program for a year. They have also done short term missions work in Russia. Pastor Cruz has assisted many churches in the areas of preaching, Bible studies, worship, and youth ministry.
Most of all, Pastor Cruz is a regular guy who loves God. He believes that anyone who gives God control of their life can accomplish great things. He likes to get together with family and friends and have a good time. He likes to fish, and is enjoying teaching his son the basics this year. He works hard, dreams big, and laughs a lot.
